    Default Hello all ..

    Hello everyone,

    Newbie to the boards here, so be gentle

    I have been playing cards in general for a few years now with friends and such, but onlyin the last two years that I have been playing Hold 'em. Only more recently, say 6 months, I have started to watch poker on tv.

    I was just wondering when the 2005 WSOP will be televised up here in good 'ol Canada. I've looked around for the info but cant seem to find it.

    Anyone know par chance?

    Welcome to the boards.

    The Canada TV poker thing, I dunno. But you can download Bit torrent or something like that and download the TV episodes.

    Hyper showed me it. You might wanna go that route.

    even in the usa the wsop is taped, heavily edited, and then not broadcast until september. so it's gonna be a looong wait for wsop 2005. of course there will be plenty of bloggers reporting on it.

    I'm of the opinion that this should include "us". Either blogging or podcasting; a little effort arranging cool FTR-style coverage might pay off.

    And I volunteer to go & watch & report or whatever's needed. Maybe new thread on this...
