    Default Hello from London

    Hello everyone,

    I came to London this Monday to stay till Friday, then gonna head to Nottingham for a Magic: the Gathering Grand Prix tournament.

    Gonna be at the Gutshot today for the £30 rebuy tournament and probably tomorrow for the £ 50 freezeout, so if anyone hangs around there, you might see me. I am the greek guy...

    Welcome to London melancholy. If you feel a little lonely whilst you're here, and want to hang out and chew the fat with other Greeks, find the big house at the top of Pall Mall, knock on the door, and ask if Phil's around.

    On a serious note, best of luck with the tournaments. I used to live in London, but now find myself in sunny Devon. Lot of Greek players at my local live game. Minos and Dimos say "Hi"!

    I played at the GutShot when I was in London about 3 months ago. Great place to play some Euro-Trash pot limit Definitely worth a visit if you want to play some holdem while in London. No need to fill out a form AND wait 24 hours before you can play like at British Casinos.

    Tournaments at the gutshot not that good...

    Played at a 30 pounds rebuy, didnt get any hands (blinds/stacks and blind levels were ridiculous to keep the tournament short) finally busted 77 vs AJ. Then I played a 50 pound freezout the next day. 2500 starting stacks. 3rd hand I flop 388 with K8 from the big blind and lose half my stack to pocket 3s and then I got blinded out .

    I made some money playing 1/2 pound NL, pretty soft game especially the second time.
    All in all I had a good time (didnt come here to play for money, just to get some live experience).

    I am at Nottingham now, registered at Gala Casino here and gonna play a tournament on Sunday (unless I run good at the Magic Grand Prix and "have" to play on sunday too :P).
