Home Game awards
Hi all,
Not sure if anyone will be interested but what the hell.
I first got into Hold 'em (after watching LNP in the UK) by playing home games (single-table tourney style). After a while, the people I regularly play against decided to "make things interesting" by holding a league, whereby each player would play x amount of games, and once everyone had finished, the one with the highest points would win (12 points for coming first, 10 for second, etc).
A far more computer-literate league member designed a website to track everyone's progress. My forte is spreadsheets, so I designed one to keep track of everyone's scores, but I also started noting certain stats and themes as they came up. We combined the results to come up with the UGPL (Uppingham Gardens Poker League) awards page. Here's the URL:

Once you've watched / skipped the intro, you're taken to a page of thumbnailed awards - click on any of them to go to the page for that award, then hover over / click on the rosette to hear the sound file and see the results.
All very silly, but thought I'd share it with you all if only to kill 5 minutes in the office... would be happy to hear your thoughts, we were all pretty pleased with it!
btw, "bluujam" is the name of the band that 4 of the league-members were in at the time. That should make the "Mark Chapman" and "Yoko" awards a little easier to understand...
Enjoy...
