I predict Durrr will have to carry his balls out in a wheel barrow when this table runs down.

this set of players is over, it's a shame really, a ton of action. Epic ownage tonight when Durrrr refuses to take $200k+ out of the pot after Barry turns down running it twice (when, in all actuality, I believe it's Dwan's decision b/c he had the "drawing" hand).

I think a great 7-8handed table would be:

    dwan
    eli
    ziigy
    PA
DB (if he plays nitty like this time)
    BG
Phil Ivey (although I'm torn on this)

you need a good mix or laggs, nits, and stations. I'd be afraid if PA and Ivey say at this table it could possibly shut down a player like Durrrr a bit. He needs some nittier players to run over. Overall this season has been awesome, and this episode was epic with 3 huge pots.

I don't think he cared whether or not they'd run it twice. The only reason I can come up with why he wouldn't take anything back is that he wants to discourage people from playing back at him. I guess it's a lot harder for most other players to flip for 1M than it is for him.

During all seasons I've always wondered who's truly rolled to play in the game.

Yeah I'm definitely going to miss this line-up. The next one coming up looks like what's normally a pretty good one, but will pale to this previous table. I think it's pretty funny how in the 3 big pots Durrrrr and Barry were involved in together the guy holding AA each time failed to take it down. Still impressive Barry walked away a 200k+ winner even after that last big pot.

I think Durrr was pissed that Barry didn't run it twice in the first hand J9 vs AA and refused this time too, So he basically said FUUUUUUUUUU BARRY when Barry asked to take monies out the pot.

Also he was a .5% favourite.

this is a very good point

also, I burst out laughing when he bet like 52k into 25k the first hand of the episode, such a secksy play.

I already expected him to play every hand like a genius, but I was still like "Oh noes! Don't bet, Eli's calling like whatever!"
And then he makes the overbet, and I fell in love all over again. I guess it's a standard play for him. If he's playing the flopped straight like he did against Zigmund, I guess he can get away with it.

I'm likely going to be the next Durrrrr since when I was watching the hand I said to myself, "He should totally bet like 50k here." Then he did.

So watch your backs and purchase my expert level coaching while it's still cheap.

Can you teach me how to exploit FTR FR nits that move to 6m like you did that one time?

Me thinks... It would be spectacular if GSN would hold a poll with numerous nominees for next seasons HSP. Then individuals could vote and pick the cast of the next season. Would be pretty badass imo.

Dammit, I was setting up huge metagame vs you for hands in the future. You need to be on my and Durrrr's level to even begin to understand how that would be implemented in the greater picture. Then you hit and ran back to FR and my plan never was given the chance to come to fruition.

Awesome season so far. Ironically I think you can now beat Doyle by playing exactly like he tells you to in super system!

Spenda FSN has a cash game show also, the season and Durr, PA and PI all at the same table and it slowed Durr down not one bit. PI had position on him, him and PA were seated more or less opposite.
  19. #94
yea saw that, that was the 500k+ pot between Ivey and PA right?

Anyways, Doc, aussie millions has PLO this year but I cannot find link and missed the first episode on FSN. adfdlghlsdagjdsagjldasg

Has anyone else noticed that Gabe Kaplan talks excessively with his hands? Like I just realized it in the last couple of episodes, but its getting to the point of stupidity lol.

Durrr's a fuggin luckbox. People think he's being facetious when he says he just runs good, but he is not. That is the secret to his success. It's alot easier to runs bluffs when you hit every other fuggin hand. Mathematically we all make our share of big hands. But luckboxes' opponents have slightly worse big hands that pay them off. Professional push n' catch poker player. Hope I learn to run good.

This was the most interesting table that I've seen on HSP, and Durrr is fun to watch, but so is Jamie Gold. This show does need some new faces though. And where are the women? Has Annie Duke ever made an appearance? Only Jen Harmon, right?

How was he a luckbox through that series? He played well, made money when he had hands, and was able to get away when he didn't. Did I miss a hand that stands out?

Luls.. I bet durrr is exactly the type of player that is pushing and catching on you at 5NL amirite? Durrr is no where near a fuggin luckbox. I was at a homegame 2 weeks ago and I had to hear the same thing, but they added the fact that doyle brunson was playing solid. Oh da future of online poker doesn't look too bleak if people still believe this shit.

    Episode 7:

Can someone please explain to me why Lederer is c/r turn with TTs in his hand vs Hachem?

It really makes noooo sense to me why he would do this... it seems brutal to me...

Well i guess I'm not gonna be watching any more of this season unless they change the lineup. Got to the lederer 1010 hand and decided that was enough for me. PA must be just licking his chops at this table.

wat? i <3 their talking because they do so much passive shit talking. and i think we're gonna be in for some awesomeness later. i mean PA has been ultra quiet but i think he's getting reads atm. plus laak was actually playing a little loose. to me it's interesting that they brought in fish for this lineup instead of the first one........but then again i think doyle and co think durr is just ruthless aggression and planned on da trappenzz, but failz. as for lederer, i think he views hachem as beneath him in ability. and i was impressed with hachem's playing

Yeah not thrilled either with the line up. I just dont get anything out of Antonio, I think he's a soundbyte whore. can I get a "Wheeeeeee"?
I will miss Tom Dwan. He looks like a soaked rat and sounds like he's got a banana caught in his throat but he's the Ron Jeremy of poker imo. Just a machine...

I liked his comment on the T4 vs AJ... 'You could have shoved the flop... or you could have shoved the turn. Even if he has a pair and a flushdraw he's folding for like 18 times the pot'

    Don't even bother.

I hate sounding like such a nuthugger, but Durrrrr seriously changes the game immensely. It becomes far more interesting to watch even before others start adjusting to him and opening up as well.

Now that I'm watching this weeks episode, I think that's a real possibility. Even Gabe got a little aggravated with all the prop bet nonsense. I think they got Durrr in on an emergency call to save the season.

That was the only thing good about this weeks episode was Gabe making fun of it during the commentary about how bad it was and how annoying some of the players were. Funny guy.

Yeah.. A lot of bitch moves on the last two episodes. The whining about the pushups, the card peak by hachem, and Antonio's 1 million % sure fail. Good thing durrr is back. Class has been restored to HSP.

  57. #132
Durrrr is kinda reaching Ivey status in the way everyone reacted him coming into the game. You could tell no one was happy about it and someone even commented on trading Simon for Dwan. Then he starts off with that small lead into a 4 players and barrels the turn (note he didn't turn over a card) then the 5bet pot with Lederer, who, frankly got owned even tho 99.5% of the viewing audience will think Durrrr got really lucky.

I likely fall into the 0.5% because Lederer seems like the weak/tight nit at the table for the few hands I've seen him play (folding 88, limp/raising AA, overlimping AKs). I'm sure durrr doesn't have him pegged as the loose type. Not sure why durrr figured a 5bet bluff was going to be profitable against him there, at least without blockers.

And yeah.. What was the story with Simon? Did he just bitch out after he played AQ poorly and lost to A2? Was it Gabe mocking him right after he left?

yes but it goes to show how much less annoying Laak is when Antonio isn't around, he was actually tolerable

That's one hell of an ugly lineup they got for this week.

+1 to Laak being more tolerable without Antonio. Laak talks so fuckin much, & it's always just nonsensical garbage. I honestly think he speaks just to hear his own voice.

I think he did it in an earlier season with AQ or AJ... so it might not be completely unbalanced... but yeah... after he checks down JJ, I'm not sure that bet was his best option.

That hand with Meltzer, Eli and Dario on the Kxx dry board was odd

god I thought Dario made a nice play (pretty sure he knew he was bluffing) but I couldn't believe Meltzer would call 50k cold.

Meltzer didn't fold K high on the river, and he didn't fold KK on the last hand either...

    pro-tip: don't bluff Meltzer when he has a K.

Fish don't like folding KK. To be honest I'm surprised he didn't c/c all 3 streets.

Just working through these now. Watched Eps 9 where Durr does his 86o hand, but how about Patrick Antonius' call down with a 4? Seemed pretty awesome to me.

Also I've been really impressed by Hachems play, he's in there mixing it up. Its obvious a few of them are trying to push him around as a tourney donk but he's winning that battle pretty easily so far. Of course his card peak sucked, but as for actual poker he's been impressive so far.
