I don't really understand why he burst like that.. but apparently something that was said struck a chord with him - I can't really relate because I don't have this condition he has.. and apart from this outburst I can't really remember any bad posts by him at all.. so maybe his condition + the double near-death experience put some extra strain on him to cause this?.. I think this needs to be accounted for.

While I realize people don't like doggz, esp the admins, I think he's made a real effort to post positive stuff and he had a moment of weakness. I don't think he deserves the ban and I think most people will agree he doesn't. We need to look past who we dislike on a personal interest level and think about the good of the community as a whole. It was one personal attack about a sensitive subject. Does that really outweigh the benfits of having an intelligent high stakes player who is also a friend to many? I certainly don't think it does. I understand Xianti has to maintain a level of dicipline and i agree with that. I dont know a perfect way to deal with the trouble we have had, i just think its generally the posters/people the site has taken onboard as it has grown. certainly, there are 'special' groups but that should not really be a concern. What bothers me is that we lost a member who potentially has at least something to offer the community here over a temper tantrum or something.
I accept xianti's point doggz shouldnt have been give a second chance anyway, but i also think *some* (and i dont personally feel its xianti) members of the community dislike one another and dont make any attempt to solve these disputes, they just carry on hating. I think this creates as many problems as anything else does.
Ive seen a lot of stuff lately where 'i know better than you' has been unwritten in many peoples posts and its just a bit childish really.
