Alright, i haven't read any of these posts yet but i can tell you cardio is overrated. You see the treadmill junkies 2 hours a day everyday, and they really get nowhere. The fatties I mean.
The best way to lose weight is exercise and diet. Go the your grocery and pick up a ton of vegetables, canned tuna (yum, staple), leaner meats, whole weat pastas and breads, margarine. You can live off that prety much. Nothing strict, you can buy many, many other things; but thats the thinking.
The other part is exercise. The best way to go is to weight train, and do it hard. Be sure to stretch and warm up first, othersie your going to hurt yourself. So a couple short sets of heavy weights, 2-3 times a week. You can mix in cardio into your routine as yes it does burn calories, but it also gives a good workout to your legs, and after the natural relaxation gives you better sleep, which you need to build muscle.
Im not saying turn into the hulk, but as you gain muscle, your metabolism increases, and you burn fat that way. Eventually, you become lean and toned; and thats what your probably going for.
