It would be a big slap in the face to his constituents to dump him at the first sign of trouble. That would be just as big of a bad story.

I don't hold obama to it any more than i hold it against the myriad of politicians who say "While I'm PERSONALLY against abortion and I would NEVER have one, I think it should be legal". Thats horseshit and we all know it. Its just political expediency. Every party and every candidate does it. Its bullshit but thats the way the game is played.
