Started damn...freshman year in college. That'd be what, September 2004?
Probably right around $5000
Like 90% of my roll is no longer offshore (and neteller has like 8%, way to go neteller). So my last two percent is at stars. I much prefer Full Tilt's interface, though.
More hands per hour, the ability to play two tables at once. The fact that I'm not yet 21 so I can't legally play live anyway
Played for shits and giggles with some buddies, luckboxed my way to money, and thought 'hah. I can make money at this.' Boy, was I ever wrong at first. I started learning at pokertips.org, and then somebody sent me here to FTR, where I learned about the game more and refined my play
Recent US legislation blows. I've switched over from poker to sportsbetting and this is KILLING the sportsbetting industry. It's ridiculous. I hope the experts are right and that everything gets repealed and the scene dies down in a few years (2-3). 'Cause this is ridiculous.
Poker is a lot harder than it looks. But the skills you have to learn in order to master it apply to many other things in life; in fact, most things in life. If you can be successful at poker, chances are you can be successful doing other things.
