Gf going to get me an iPad but I have to choose the one I want. I have an iPhone 4 already and am having trouble justifying the price and monthly costs of a 3G iPad. Also, if you have a 3G iPad, AT&T or Verizon? Are you happy with it? How much?

Hell, my droid becomes a 3G hotspot... no extra charge... so Ipad could connect to it, seems Iphone should have that capability too...

WiFi. iPhone has a Personal Hotspot feature that you can connect via WiFi or Bluetooth. I just got my iPad and the tethering works great. I have read, though, that some douchebag US carriers don't allow you to tether on their plans.
