Thumbs up It's Going Down in the South

Somebody asked for me to post about crazy shit going on where I live, so I just wanted to remind all y'all that it's really going down in the south. Two dudes I went to elementary school and high school with got into some serious shit this past weekend:

Jerry Lyndon Blakely, 27, of East Bend, and Darrell Wayne Pinnix, 28, of Boonville, each face eight total counts following a Nov. 27 incident on Beauty Drive in East Bend.

The men, wearing dark hoodies and masks and armed with a knife and hammer, knocked on the door and identified themselves as Yadkin County deputies, according to a statement from the Yadkin County Sheriff's Office.

The men pushed their way into the home, tied and handcuffed the two victims and asked for money and credit cards, deputies said. The suspects left the home with prescription drugs.

The victims remembered one of the men from an encounter earlier that day, leading to a quick capture, deputies said.

The suspects' charges include first-degree burglary, second-degree kidnapping and conspiracy to traffick in opium or heroin, all felonies. Other charges include impersonating a law enforcement officer and assault on a handicapped person.

Blakely was held under a $250,000 secured bond in the Yadkin County Jail, while Pinnix was given a $250,000 unsecured bond. Both are scheduled to make their first court appearance Wednesday.

So this story is getting passed around Facebook or whatever, and this other guy comments:

that stupid fuckin piece of shit broke into my house 5 years ago with brandon i damn near killed them both ended up getting charged with felony assault for breaking pool sticks over their heads, it all got dropped but to this day if i meet either one its on
Welcome to East Bend, NC. Population 650? WE HAVE A STOPLIGHT PEOPLE.

Actually I live between East Bend and Boonville. Boonville has a population of like 1250, and they have had their stoplight longer.

If you want to be able to see more than one stoplight at the same time, then you have to drive in to Yadkinville. According to Wikipedia: "Yadkinville is a town in Yadkin County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 2,818 at the 2000 census. Located in the Piedmont Triad, it is the county seat and largest city of Yadkin County."

Now that I think about it, some shit happened on the day I first met the chick I'm dating where my cousin shot his wife and tried to kill himself after she said she was going to tell people he fucked with their kid to get back at him over some shit he did like getting drunk with his buddies: http://yadkinvalleynews.com/yadkinvi...ting-his-wife/

YADKINVILLE — A Yadkinville man, who was ordered to stay away from his wife, has been charged with shooting her.

According to the Yadkin County Sheriff’s’ Office, the shooting occurred more than a month ago on May 21 at 1115 Styers Mill Rd.

Deputies responded to the scene and found Valorie Allgood who appeared to have been shot in the back of the head.

Allgood’s husband, Brian Leonard Allgood, became the prime suspect and was found shortly after the investigation in his wrecked car about a mile south from the house. According to investigators, Brian Allgood appeared to have shot himself in the head.

At the time of the shooting, Valorie Allgood had a restraining order against her husband and a case pending for assault on a female.
Two people shot in the head, but since neither of them died, I guess it's Allgood.

Hey I just found another fun one: http://yadkinvalleynews.com/hamptonv...ith-break-ins/

A Hamptonville man faces felony charges after he allegedly broke into a house in Yadkinville.

Logan McCoy Gregory, 18, allegedly took some loose change in a jar from the house.
Detectives with the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office charged him with one count each of felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, damage to property, and possession of marijuana.
He was released after posting a unsecured $25,000 bond.
    Thanks Obama. Speaking of Obama...

For anyone who wants to say that the Klan doesn't operate anymore: http://yadkinvalleynews.com/anti-kkk...ilent-protest/

HARMONY — An anti-KKK group plans to protest the group’s gathering in Harmony where the Klan plans a cross burning on Saturday.

According to a press release, the group will leave Yadkinville at 1 p.m. Activists, the group says, have organized caravans to make the trip to Harmony to the Galaxy Foods at 3235 Hamony Hwy.

The KKK has begun holding publicized meetings throughout NC this spring, the group says, including one earlier this month in Eden.

In the spirit on nonviolent, anti-racist protest, NC Against the KKK: Unity in Harmony will hold a peaceful rally against racism and hate on Saturday, the group says.

“We will not allow the Klan to further divide the people of North Carolina,” said Wooten Gough. Instead, we will show them we stand together against racism and bigotry. Our peaceful demonstration will focus on bringing a diverse and multiracial group of North Carolinians together as part of the continuing struggle against racism and injustice in this state.”

The KKK says it will hold a rally and cross-burning at dusk.

A recording on the Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan “24 Hour Hot Line” confirmed the May 26 cross burning event.

“Always remember: If it ain’t white, it ain’t right,” the recording concluded.
    Yeah you're welcome.

Last year they found a hooker burned to death and wrapped in trash bags in a field across from the high school I went to: http://yadkinvalleynews.com/sheriffs...tifies-body-2/ From the look of her, I'd have to say she wasn't a good one. Oh and her name was Ginger Sue.

When my county voted on the NC thing to ban gay marriage, we voted 81 percent for banning it. The state of NC as a whole only had 61 percent voting to ban it. (Source: http://yadkinvalleynews.com/three-in...-early-voting/)

That's about all I can come up with at the moment.
