nah, it isn't the docs fault. The docs play a constant game of 'cover your ass' forced upon them by the insurance companies and lawsuits. They do so many tests that are irrelevant it is amazing. Regretfully they tend to be on our Medicaid/Indigent patients and we end up eating the cost of them.

Also, UG, level 6 basically means "we're fucked". The WHO bringing us up to level 4 two days ago, and level 5 yesterday has more to do with preventing a pandemic from happening, not ceasing a pandemic in process. I suspect it would have to get a bit worse before it could be level 6, and I doubt this virus could (in US at least) due to the relatively low death rate, but I really have little clue what the WHO considers high death rate WRT pandemics.

AFAIK the levels are to do with transmission and are independent of death rates, level 6 meaning that it's super-transmissible and is kicking off pretty much worldwide..

I just got to NJ today and REALLY hope I get the piggyflu so I can go home. First this customer has FTR blocked so I can't browse during the day on my laptop. No problem though cuz I haz a blackberry. Except that the room that they put us in must be lined with kryptonite or some shit like that cuz I have NO CELL SERVICE in there.
