If their schedule was so terrible, then explain why the BCS computer rankings, which are mainly based on strength of schedule, have them ahead of everyone except LSU and Virginia Tech.

Most of the SEC advocates do. All I keep hearing is 41-14 as if one game in one season makes their entire conference better forever and for all time.

i'm talking about year after year the SEC is way better.
If year after year means last year and this year, then yes. Two years ago the SEC sucked and the Big 10 was the best. Things change from year to year obviously. But in the long run all of the BCS conferences are about equal, except for the Big East and even they will probably catch up sooner or later.
