This is spot on. FWIW, I've also seen deals where they ship you the shell of the PC, i.e. they screw in the mobo for you etc, and leave you all the easy stuff like inserting the RAM and installing the OS.

A final, albeit minor advantage is that you don't have to spend the first day on your brand new PC uninstalling all the annoying bloatware shit they install for you.
