Anyone else notice they've beefed up the defense BIG TIME this year compared to previous maddens? Breath of fresh air imo.
yeah, the defense definitely seems improved and from what i've noticed, defenders play zones a lot smarter and the receivers don't cut into their routes nearly as well or smoothly. the routes therefore take longer and don't seem to get nearly the separation that they used to against man.
frankly, i think this is a good thing. offense has historically always been too easy in madden and i kind of miss madden 05 specifically where you could actually get pressure from your d-line alone, but i digress.
