Just...wow...
This Texans team will be entirely different from that of the 2-14 season, it looks like.

This is really not a good thing. Unproved but highly touted backup for a pretty decent QB. I honestly wouldn't be to angry with Roethlisberger being traded for Carr.

I don't necessarily agree Phantaroth. Every year a couple of really shitty teams suddenly become decent. The Texans IMO are going to be one of them IF Schaub plays well. I could honestly see them winning 9 or 10 games which may or may not be good enough to make the playoffs in the AFC. I think the Titans are going to be terrible again next year.

If someone was willing to trade a decent pick for carr, they would have done that, but no one wanted to trade for him because his salary was too high.

And yea Lee, it's tough to like a Tsip but he's pretty much a great player, a great competitor, and a pretty decent person for all I can tell and he plays for my 2nd fav team (former Oilers).

The people comparing the McGahee trade to Schaub must play fantasy or Madden or some shit. A QB with even a glimmer of a chance at being a decent franchise QB is worth way more in the modern NFL than any RB who isn't just downright special (AP, LT in his prime, etc). RB and QB are like the polar opposite when it comes to trade value. Aside from the obvious fact that they're just plain more valuable to an offense without considering market conditions, there's the fact that there are almost twice as many starting QB positions in the NFL as there are starting-caliber QBs. Conversely there are easily twice as many serviceable RBs in the NFL as there are RB positions.
