Monitor for photo editing (& poker of course!)

Yeh, the photographers I've worked with, and am inn'a few groups with on FB never really talk about their monitor, it's all about their lens, lighting stuff, and cameras. These people make some bank if they do it professionally, too.

I've already invested a decent amount in camera & lenses.. around $2k but grabbing another lense & new tripod for a stocking stuffer. She's using a sh1te Viewsonic 21" monitor I picked up for free & it's definitely not cutting it.

Damn. That's pretty bad ass.

As far as a monitor then? I'd just search around on tigerdirect and look at the reviews and shit. 22-24 inch widescreen would be perfect imo.
