27/29" i wouldn't bother. too big and you'll lose pixels per inch. a 24" 1900x1200 shouldnt be too expensive and a dell one would be top quality. ive got a really nice samsung 24" at that res

The 27" Dell is 2560 x 1440 (3.6+million pixels). But it does cost twice as much as the 24" Dell.
