A. I think this went a lot deeper than 2+2....alot deeper, most of what went down resulted from tension that has been building for months, if not years for some people. Rippy brought this on himself because he couldn't handle the fact that many of his ideas are wrong. 2+2 should have been a wake-up call. Then he posted here to whine about it and we all gave him the dose of reality that we should have done when he 1st posted his guide.

B. We tried to help him Soupie, but when someone is so cocky and arrogant that they can't handle simple critique without responding and trashing the other person, there isn't much too be done. In fact if my memory is correct, you yourself have said how you try to help him, but he just won't listen.

C. As i've said to many others who asked about why I took the time to write my posts, some things have to be exposed when they are kept in the dark too long. Rippy used his "golden image" on FTR to manipulate and con dozens and dozens of new players who didn't know any better. Noone had the courage to stand up and say something for a long time. When it all finally came out, a lot of resentment came with it. I'm sure most people who were hardcore flaming him will tell you they should have worded things differently, but the main points are still there, and they needed to be.

In the end, all of this is better off in the open then circling around the rumor mill.
