i agree with lamb, rippy's been a disgrace to ftr ever since he'd pm everybody 900 times for "a few dollars on stars" in irc every day for 3 months straight. then he'd pay people back on his own time even if the money was 20% of somebody's bankroll.
it just got to the point where people got sick of his shit and he got what was coming to him. hes a decent player but he has an image of himself that he certainly does not live up to. hes definitely not the type of person who should have the role model status that he currently has.
anyway, i thought it was a bit ridiculous that the "rippy moves to 2p2" thread was locked. if a person on this site is held in high esteem, but has serious holes in his game, i think people should know about it. especially if hes writing guides that beginners follow religiously.
