I've got the same issues with sleeping. I could write an essay about how bad it is and for how long it has been, but I won't, you'll just have to take my word for it.
I've made some progress over the past couple weeks and I'm really happy with it. I've been getting up before noon and it feels amazing.
Anyways, what I've had to do is: wake up to an alarm clock. This is something that I cut out of my life 3 years ago and I was really happy with that decision. I hated starting every day with that stupid buzzer sound, or the sound of shitty radio music. I also loved sleeping until my body was refreshed.
However, I've discovered that it's not worth it (you'll eventually get the rest you need, just takes practice and time to adjust). Waking up to an alarm every morning is a small sacrifice towards accomplishing what I want to accomplish, which is enjoying sunshine. For you, I would set an alarm and force yourself out of bed. It's hard as fuck getting up and the day will feel off but you will get to sleep very easily that night and will notice a great improvement after only 24 hours. It gets easier and easier as the week progresses.
BooG is right about the lack of structure in your life being the problem. I haven't had structure in my life for a long time, until two weeks ago: my alarm clock.
