What's his deal, does he really grind online and make money? Only read about him in live stuff.

has he made it public what name he'll be playing under? I'd love to donate some of my money to his cause.

I'm dying of curiosity about this too. Also, does everyone type {acronym Renton hates} or is it auto-formatted to that every time someone submits a post with the acronym in it?

Ha! I play 2NL and either yesterday or the day before, as I was looking for a table, there was a full ring 2NL table that had 72 people in line on the waiting list. There's typically no more than 1 or 2, so I was like "wtf is going on"? Now I'm wondering if Daniel was playing on it.

well of course they'll still run into each other b/c they're still playing online anyways. i meant for the specific 4 tabling deathmatch the op is about.

hahahaha i cant believe some of the stuff im reading

That was sick!!! Had my 2.60 up to like $8.37 in a game and run KK into AA on a board of 7-7-10-7... brutal. Great game too with a guy shipping $5 in every hand. Oh well... still up $0.44.
The goal is to get to a $100,000 bankroll which would allow me to play $100-$200 NL.
also found but OT maybe needs own thread

The micro grind is all the rave. I've got a 2 month head start on him. Wonder how long till he passes me. Without redepositing, it is not easy to do. I wonder if he'd be honest about busting out?
  40. #40
I've just been kind of cleaning out my old poker accounts...going back and using points from all the rooms I don't play anymore to enter tourneys. In just under a week, I've scraped up about $230 and it's been a fun distraction.

I'm not starting over myself, but I recommend this exercise to anyone who finds himself going back to the microgrind, by choice or otherwise. Or would that be cheating to someone doing it by choice, Nibbles?
  41. #41
I recommend this to all those who have more time on their hands than money in their hands. I'm so broke, if a mugger robbed me, he'd just be practicing (Chris Tucker). Well, I'm not broke, but I owe Visa, and this OP occupies my time and thus saves me money. Debt free in 2009 baby!

And yes, that would be cheating.
