    Default NES

So, we all know that NES was the shizzo and its always fun to go back and play those games from time to time. I have a NES downstairs but there are many sweet games that I don't have. I know there is a computer program that has like every NES game ever and you can play it on your PC. Does anyone have this or know where I can find it?

EDIT*** Ok, so I got the emulator and the controller working. Everyone tell me your favorite games so I can get them. I can't remember all the old games I used to play. I have Contra, Ninja Gaiden (1-3), Mega Man (1-6), Top Gun, Mike Tysons Punch-out, Mario(s), and Metroid. I'll be getting pretty much everything that was ever cool so remind me!

I cant remember if this is the best one or not but it works. You can search around for ROMs of games and stuff you might want.

I got my emulator and its cool and easy to use. I got some games too. I just now have to figure out how to get my gamepad to work. I've heard others say they had trouble with this.

I've used emulators for NES, SNES, GB (and a few variations of GB), N64, PSX, and Genesis. It's quite fun.

The gamepad thing can be tricky, but I've always got it within a reasonable amount of time.

Any tips on how to get the gamepad to work?

He got on vent and his mic wasnt working. And I went through all these steps... turns out the questions I shoulda been asking were closer to "is the mic plugged in?"

I had a problem with that too and computer game pads are so crappy compared to console controllers I just modded out my xbox and played it all on that where it is all preprogrammed to the xbox controller buttons. It just feels more like a nintendo to me played on a tv and console.

Playing it on the computer feels pretty much the same to me. My gamepad looks exactly like a PS2 controller so there really isn't much of a difference. I just wish I could get the damn thing to work. Its hard playing Contra and Ninja Gaiden with the keyboard.

My roomate has a NES, he would always play this baseball game for it. In the last week I got addicted. The game might have came out in 1987(its as old as me) but it has a lot of depth.

We even used it as a drinking game.

Mario Kart for the SNES = best game in the world. The Mario Karts for N64 and Game Cube suck.

Long live Mike Tyson's Punch Out!!! Hey Les you can find every game on TorrentSpy. If you like the PS2 controllers then you can get a USB adapter for them to work on the PC. Their on eBay and they're cheap.

Super C was good one. It was Contra 2. I actually had never played it on the original NES but discovered it on emulation.

Adventure Island - i liked those games quite a bit

Of course the Castlevanias were cool back in the day - I couldnt get into those again as much as other games.

Jackal - this is one of the best - I beat this game like 109328490132 times when I was little.

Baseball Stars is still the greatest baseball game.. spend money to improve players, great playability, mod'ing lineups to take advantage of big arms. Too cool.

Marble Madnes owned my life for about two weeks in middle school.

Tecmo Bowl - LT, the XP-blocking machine too cool
So you click their picture and then you get their money?

I loved Baseball Stars, so did my wife and anyone who played it.
Been playing money poker for 34 years and decided in 2002 to try that TX Holdem game on TV. Then found Pokerstars in Summer 2005. Still not an overall winner but i am on a good trend and nearly there.

I never played it, I always had RBI baseball but maybe I'll have to check it out.
