    Default Neteller Accounts

For those of you guys that have one, did you guys have to wait long after you first deposit before you could officially start using your account. Those guys are taking forever. And what's worse they charged me 8.9% with the deposit i made. So angry!!!!!! Shoulda sticked with firepay

Getting the account to the point where you could deposit is what takes the longest.

You used instacash. That's a no-no. Funding it with a CC would have been a better option. A no fee 4-5 day deposit from bank account would be the best way.

If you use instacash through many of the pokersites, they will pay the fee associated with doing so - i.e. when you fund your Bodog or Paradise (the two I am sure of off the top of my head) account through instacash you don't end up paying any fee.

Listen to what Ahiltz is telling you.

You never need to pay ANY Neteller fees. Set it up to fund from your checking account. Then jump through their hoops to 'verify' your bank account. Then its free. There are very few sites that charge YOU for using Neteller. But there are a handful that do.

Unless you are Canadian like me and you have to pay 1.9% transfer fee from US to Cdn $$ when cashing out to your bank account.

yeah, that sucks. i tried setting up a USD account with the royal bank, and using that with NETeller, but it wouldnt work. something about how they code the accounts.

add it to the rake expense.

ya it took me a while to finally get to use the money. They sent me .37 online to my bank account that takes a couple days then you have to type that number on the website. Then they made me call in to verify my account which i waited to do for a week.

And I'm a US citizen, paying Neteller 1.9% to convert my cash to Euros! I've got half my bankroll in Euros right now! It's the zany world of online poker!

Anyway, apart from exchange fees, I don't pay anything to Neteller.

Wow, my neteller account was set up the day I opened it. All I had to do is verify my bank account. Also, you got charged a fee mostlikely because you used INSTACASH. Why are you blaming them for your own mistake? That's just dumb.

If you move around a lot of money I highly recomment the ATM card. Saves me a lot of time.

CC deposit to the Poker site, then move the money from the poker site to the Neteller account.

I'm an Australian citizen. Havn't cashed out as yet, but jus going to use chq.
