    Default Newest FTR Addition!!!

Well my fellow floppers, it's official. I have now entered the ranks of Fatherhood.

On Sunday at 1:08pm a daughter was born unto me. And with a little bias, she's the most precious thing I've ever laid eyes on. I can say my wife has been great. Not only did she give birth, but she let me play in the tourney this weekend before going into labor. What a woman!! :P I think I'll keep her.

Anyways, here's the paticulars. Annie Duke better watch out if my child is anything like her mother. Thank God she looks like her mother too!

    Jazmyn Elise Casiano
    6lbs. 9oz.

Well back to the hospital. Just stopped home for a quick shower. Now what would have possesed my wife to say, "No poker when you get home"?

    Later people.

    Congratulation F.Y.R.

As a father of 2 grown young ladies I encourage you to make sure to spend quality time with your family while you can, the time seems to past by so quickly.................and to send those young ladies away to a convent or similar institution from age 14 thru 21.....

I wish you and your family only the best, again CONGRATS

    Congrats, man! Awesome!

Enjoy her now while she's little. All to soon you'll be greeting would-be suitors at the door with an engraved baseball bat!!

I've got a 2 year old, and I can tell you - you are in for the best time of your life. Congratulations! Playing poker is not too hard to do while feeding the baby a bottle or rocking her to sleep.

So many graveyard games headed your way, it'll pay for her college.

    Congrats!

Your recent addition makes me feel such compassion that I changed my signature to something slightly less offensive to you.

But watch out. All this offensive hatred is festering and soon I will launch my new sig that will humiliate you.
I don't know what they have to say
    It makes no difference anyway.
    Whatever it is...
    I'm against it.

Got a girl and boy of my own. I'll second the advice given earlier. They grow up so fast, make the best of the time you have with them at this age.

I just want to say thank you to everyone for there congratualtions and advice. We finally came home today, and I must say there is a new energy in the house. I must say I'm a blessed man. A wife who lets me play poker and a child that loves to sleep (So far. )

I will heed the advice given, because it seems like my wife told me we were expecting just yesterday. And I've already been a Father for three days even though it feels like minutes. I've got a long road to go, but am anticipating every minute of it with joy.

Well back to the women for a bit. I'll see you guys soon.

Well actually, I planned on having the would be suitor see me sharpening my Pick Head Axe. (Like the one in my avatar.) And then asking him if he was circumcized or not.

In all reality. If my daughter is anything like my wife. I've got nothing to worry about. And so far, she's a carbon copy of my wife according to my mother in law. She's such a calm child. I have three very large and loud dogs and she dosen't even bat an eyelash when they get to barking and making a ruckus. So I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks again for the kind words everyone. I'll post a picture soon.

Congrats! Your life will never be the same again, but for the better! Or at least all of my friends with children tell me...

Sometimes I wonder about that when I see them with huge bags under their eyes from lack of sleep, but they still seem overjoyed

    Welcome to the Club Fyr.

She'll be pretty boring for the next few months, eat, sleep, crap, sleep, crap, eat, eat, crap, crap, sleep and crap at the same time.. etc.

But the moment she can crawl... wow. I love mine to death. 11 months old, and is just amazing.

The best feeling ever though. Is to fall asleep with her as a newborn, with sleeping up and down on your breastbone.

Best pictuer ever, is to take a picture of her in your arms with you wearing a really black sweater she's nude as the moment she was born. It allows you to appreciate how small she really was.
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes

I could actaully walk, talk and do other stuff when I was 3. Am I a genius because most can only sleep, eat and poop at 3?
