Yeah the SU aint too bad. Pool tables and cheap beer is alright to pass the time, can always head into town if you fancy a change. Most students just seem to visit the 2 or 3 pubs across the road.

Caffeine does have positive affects on headaches over the short term, but it seems that some people develop a sort of allergy to it. It's not well documented, scientifically, I think. Diet is hard to test properly.

I don't KNOW I get headaches from caffeine since my analysis is founded in anecdote, but at this point, it's more likely than any other solution other than I just get headaches. Which may be right.

Another issue that seems to affect my headaches is how often I eat. It seems that if i eat below maintenance and once a day, I don't get headaches. Which really sucks since 'below maintenance' is more like below energetic maintenance, not a weight loss below maintenance.

was just watching sportscenter, and they were discussing texas A&M's hiring of Mike Sherman (former packers head coach and current texans offensive coordinator) for their vacant head coaching job. Mike Sherman was the only guy interviewed, persumably because the athletics director at A&M really wanted the guy. Mike Sherman is white.

ESPN has a bunch of bafoons (specifically Mark May, who is black) babbling on about how this is grossly unfair, racist, and no progress is being made in minority head coaching hires. He suggests that NCAA football should have an equivalant of the rooney rule in the NFL (one where at least one african-american candidate must be interviewed for any coaching vacancy-- might be restricted to just head coaching hires, whatever. not the point.

The point is that basically these guys are idiots. Blacks make up 13%? of the population. IT MAKES SENSE THAT THERE WILL BE MORE WHITE COACHES THAN BLACK COACHES. THIS IS NOT RACIST OR DISCRIMINATORY. He starts naming off "great" candidates like Ron English of Michigan... *PUKE*. Yeah, pretty much any college football fan will know exactly why he would never be considered for a head coaching job-- Michigan's defense has been putrid despite being loaded with talent.

Cliff notes-- Affirmative action sucks in politics; it has ABSOLUTELY NO PLACE in sports whatsoever and I pretty much hate everybody who tries to push that agenda. Maybe hate isn't the best word but whatever.

To clarify, i have absolutely nothing against any minority whatsoever. It just bothers me to no avail that some people think they deserve unfair advantages for whatever reason. In this case because they are a minority.
