    Default The Office

I never saw this show until last night. I saw the pilot and I was instantly hooked. With the addictive personality I have, one show led to another, and I just spent the past 7 hours watching every episode that's been released. It's my new favorite TV show. That's all I have to say. I'm going to try to fit in 2 hours of sleep now.

    American version or English version?
The strong point in poker is never to lose your temper, either with those you are playing with or, more particularly, with the cards. There is no sympathy in poker. Always keep cool. If you lose your head you will lose all your chips.

US version isnt even close to the brit version in quality.

ANyone who says otherwise is ovbiously retarded. Ofc, that isnt to say the US version is bad, because its really good, it just isnt the pure brilliance that gervais is.

the only problem I found with the british version (which I loved) was that Gervais was too good in his role, and a lot of the time he came off as more sad than funny. you couldn't help but feel sorry for him, which makes it harder to laugh at him. I remember watching a few episodes where I would cringe at how awkward he was.

In the US version Carrell is a bit more of an ass, which makes it a lot easier to laugh at him.

I've been enjoying the US version since season 1 on cable...very funny.

I'll have to check out the British version sometime, everyone says it is excellent.
