I hope the Pats win, because no one wins when the Jets win.

And besides, crushing Brady in the AFC championship game is how it needs to be done.

Shitty game so far. Hass is playing pretty well, but the bears coverage is making every catch tough, and we aren't coming up with them.

For anyone who only saw us play last week and this week, this is exactly how our entire season has gone. Everything going right or everything going wrong. No middle ground.

I haven't seen games in any other stadiums either, but yeah, it's ridiculous how loud it gets. It's always very loud, then in big games it goes to a whole other level.

Meh. I've been in Seattle when it's fired up. (The Seachickens came back from being down 17 points against the chiefs and won during the Dick Vermiel years) It's certainly loud, but not nearly as loud as I had expected.

In Old Mile High, if you weren't wearing ear protection during the game, you'd have hearing problems for the next week when that place went nuts.

You must have caught us on an offweek. I do need wear earplugs because of it.

When we get going it's def louder than any rock show I've even been to.

About this week, at least it looks like we are at least making the score look respectable, and we aren't giving up. Considering the talent deficit we have vs all these other playoff teams, that's not too bad.

Even if we were to pull off the late miracle, I'm not sure we'd have enough healthy bodies to field a team next week

pats were down 14-9 after a touchdown, pending a PAT, at the end of the 3rd.

finally a coach that understands that the common sense play of going for 2 there is also the right play.

one of my favorite things in the world is to go to the Patriots forum and just read the epic QQ after a big loss. This one is good.

Pats fans are just rabid about either being "the best, or the worst"

    jets vs steelers, ugh

bears vs packers for nfc championship, pretty awesome.

i'm kind of rooting for murda's team in this one, but as long as the NFC wins i'll be happy (they won't)

bears d has done pretty well historically vs rodgers and the packers o, from what i can remember.

ugh? I'm excited for the jets vs steelers game! It's one of the top match-ups I could ever ask for.

Also, I'd really like to see a Steelers Packers superbowl. Aaron Rodgers looks like a fun QB to play. I don't like watching Jay Cutler play football.

It's too bad that hte Ravens and Steelers had to play each other. They always don't do so hot in the game after.

AMAZING gameplan by the JEts, even though I wish Green had knelt the ball once he had a first down instead of scoring that TD (for purely selfish reasons on my part).

    huh?

This is certainly the first I've heard of this and we won the SB in '08 after beating the Ravens in the championship game.

So I'm gonna go ahead and say no.

There's a pretty successful betting system where you just fade Baltimore and Pittsburgh the game after they play each other because they beat each other up so much and expend so much energy and motivation in their game that they don't play as well the next game.

Of course, this is for the regular season. Playoffs might be a different matter. But might be rolling Jets either way.

Well, since it's the playoffs and the Jets arguably came off a bigger motivation high in playing the Pats, I wouldn't use the Steelers fading as a betting strategy.

yeah, unless it's the whole "beating each other up" factor that's the dominant factor.

Maybe, I have the sense that this was one of the less hard-hitting in the last 8 Ravens Steelers games. But that could just be because I can't recall anyone being visibly annihilated.

Thanks! I'll play as hard as I can on Sunday. That is to say, it sounds to me like you'll be going against my advice and taking the Jets +3 or 3.5.

In any case, it's only wednesday and this is quickly becoming the shortest week of all time.

I'm glad its Green Bay and Pittsburgh though. That's good football and I think it's a 50/50 game.
