I know it's been said before about 6 trillion times, but Andy Reid's refusal to give his RBs the rock is truly astounding. I'm not sure a more perfect situation could arise of QB looking terrible, run game working 100% of the time he goes to it and game being within reach than what happened today. And yet, 65 pass plays dialed up. lulzy

look at the bright side, at least you don't have a coach who insists on punting on 4th and 1 at midfield

or, after a pick 6 and the team up 15-10 in the 4th quarter 'plays it safe' and kicks an extra point to make it 16-10 instead of trying for 2 to make it a 7 point game

it's so frustrating because it's one of the only aspects of an NFL head coaches job that I am absolutely, positively, 100% certain that I could do better than most at... and it had a direct effect on the outcome of the game yesterday. If this paragraph sounds ridiculous then ask yourself what actual good coaches like Belichik, Payton, Mike Smith etc. would have done in those situations.

I think a lot of the resistance in giving McCoy the ball heaps is keeping him fresh for the duration of the season. Sure, they can hand him the ball 25-30+ times a game but he's not a big back. It will wear him out. In a perfect world some combination of Dion Lewis/Bryce Brown/Chris Polk will step up to help him, but I'm not holding my breath.

Heard they were trying out college refs because of the strike? The pylon call seemed pretty straight forward in the Saints match too if the pylon is in play which I think it is?
