idk the percentage of people coming by sea and of those who come by sea how many come by shitty boats, but I'm confident it's lower than you think.

They're not generally using P&O Ferries. Of course, some do, some come here and outstay their visa, which at least isn't dangerous. But for the most part, they are paying people traffickers substantial fees, these traffickers are most certainly criminals, and criminals do not tend to hire expensive seaworthy craft.
