I actually think it's this level of political interaction that causes America's problems. It's all reactionary outrage, then head in sand, then repeat.

Trump is in office because the Reps felt like they weren't being listened to or addressed by the Obama administration. Obama was in office because Dems felt the same way about Bush 2. Bush 2 'cause Clinton... Clinton 'cause Bush 1.

People get all complacent after they vote, as if that person is anything other than another politician with their own goals and agendas. The solution (I suspect) is to stop trusting the people you vote for, not to vote against people you distrust.
