If you really think Trump did anything resembling 'drain the swamp' then I have some drained swampland to sell you. He either hired other fatcats to replace the fatcats who were there, hired complete incompetents like Betsy DeVos, or he didn't bother to hire anyone. So sure, he wrecked the existing form of government. The problem is he didn't replace it with anything, and certainly not anything better.
