And just so you know....it was all ceremonial anyway. Most of the west coast states, where Amazon is, already have shitloads of state and city ordinances enforcing minimum wages that are $15+/hour. I doubt very much that any significant % of Amazon's workforce saw much of anything.

Like New York City really needed Amazon. Remember your own point about Amazon having made $11B last year and not paid a dime in taxes on that? Turns out the cities in which it's in don't really benefit from unpaid taxes.
