How about armstrongs domincance at the Tour de france AFTER he had his nuts removed?

It's top 5 easy... but Phelps is the sickest sports performance this olympics.
dont agree.
I dont take anything away from phelps, he is clearly the greatest overall olympian in history.
But what bolt did the other night was something that is out of this world, phelps has won race after race, bolt destroyed the record books without even trying.
But w/e lots of people will have their own opinion
Not to downplay his results, but I'd hesitate to say the greatest Olympian in history. He just happens to be dominant in a sport where you can win a bunch of medals. There have been similarly dominant people in other Olympic sports also, Alexander Karelin for instance. He took gold at Super heavyweight in Greco-Roman in 88, 92 and 96, and silver in 2000 when he was scored on for the first time in 6 years and first match in 13 years. Multiple people spent their entire careers trying to beat him and came up short, like Matt Ghaffari (who took silver in 96) who was 0 for 22 against him.
