And that's why you're not a real fan.

Nothing risked, nothing gained. When you lose, you're numb. When you win, you're still numb. And don't kid yourself.

That's a load of shit. I've been watching every Lions game for the past 15 years. Fuck you sir.

Do you realize the situation the Lions are in? We've won 1 playoff game in since they started playing the Super Bowl. The owners of our team, the Fords, know nothing about building a winning football team. They have hired Mat Millen as the GM, who despite his multiple draft day debacles and his 23-70 in six years as GM, will not be fired because the Ford's trust him and he keeps assuring him that everything is going to be ok.

To say I'm not a real fan is fucking bullshit. You just need to realize what a hopeless situation the Lions are in right now that will last until Matt Millen gets fired and the Fords hire someone competent to be GM.

Do you realize how ridiculous it is to accuse a Lions fan of not being a real fan?

Yeah, I just jumped on the bandwagon this year because of their stellar 2-11 record.

Detroit, Oakland, Houston, Arizona and Cleveland have it the worst

    Other bad teams this year:
San Francisco <- like 8 superbowls
Green Bay <- Brett Favre is an ass hole
Washington <- highest payroll in the league?
Tampa Bay <- just won a super bowl

Cleveland has it bad becuase they cant say that they lead the rivalry series between Steelers and Brownies all time anymore. Since its 55-55 now, i believe.

How is Brett Favre an asshole?

Anyone watching the Dallas game when Bush scored that touchdown? Commentator goes "I would like to be anyone but Houston right now. How the hell did they not pick Reggie Bush as #1 pick."

So in other words, you gave up. You gave up being a fan. Period. End of story.

There is no furhter discussion beyond this. When you give up on your team and expect them to lose, you are no longer a fan.

And I take offense to the 'fuck you sir' for speaking the truth.

And don't even pretend to be a fan later should the Lions turn themselves around; when you jump ship, there's no way to get back. You may fool other people and have them think you are a fan, but that doesn't change the fact that you turned your back on your team.

No; you're being a Lions hater. A whiny little bitch that thinks he has the answer to all the organizations problems. Every flailing franchise has some. Hell, Houston is freaking littered with them.

So don't try to justify yourself by doing that. By openly criticizing everything your organizations does (and who knows? Are you actually rooting for your team to lose to get a better draft pick?) and by expecting your team to lose, you give up being a fan and turn into a hater.

Stupidest thing I've heard in my life. So I'm not allowed to be critical of my team because I'm a fan of them? And I'm not criticizing everything my team does. I love watching Roy Williams and Kevin Jones every week. If I really was a hater I would have stopped watching the games and buying Lions stuff which obviously hasn't happened. Let me repeat, we've gone 23-70 in the past six years. It's not like I'm cheering for the Lions to lose but really, when we lose 75% of our games, am I really supposed to pretend that there's nothing wrong with the organization?

You remind me of those fanboys back in the days of Nintendo vs Sega. You support your team blindly no matter what. In some ways this admireable but in many ways it's really pathetic. The fact is, Reggie Bush could go on the break every NFL rushing record and you would still acknowledge that your team made the right choice by drafting Mario Williams number 1. Let's see if you feel the same way in 15 years after 15 straight painful seasons where you have done nothing but watched your favorite team in sports lose and the few times they do make the playoffs they get blown out in the first round every single time. Then try to tell me you wouldn't be critical of them. Please.

I think you were off-base on this one, lee. Everything that bob listed as bad about his team is true. They're facts not opinions.

The Lions don't really have hope for the future, but he still watches games.

Marques Colston is rookie of the year, thanks.

And DeMeco Ryans (Texans) is the frontrunner for defensive rookie of the year, thanks.
