Explain me this

I thought conventional travel broke down at the quantum level. Stuff like particles don't move from one place to another, but appear at one place then another. I'm guessing if that's an accurate idea it's explained by observation inability and that particles simply aren't made to travel faster than light. But what about teleportation? I thought physics claims that a particle can disappear then reappear at a different point in spacetime and be effective faster than light
