I haven't tried it, and I don't know if you can play for free, but you might want to look into bitcoin poker. In case you are underaged it might not be an option or if you're in the US of A, or any country under sharia law it might be dicey - which is what I'm guessing is the reason you're looking for playmoney sites.
I think that pokerstars.de might be a playmoney only client with seperate player pool. - They make these country specific playmoney clients to get around advertisement laws, so you might find some competition there.
