gross yes, but captures the essence of the humility of aging quite well.

here is another one just linked since it's such huge res. this one is one of the best photos of an eclipse ever taken, shows how insignificant humanity really is in the grand scheme of things. this sort of thing would have resulted in mass suicides/sacrifices thousands of years ago, now it's probably just a tourist attraction, too bad:
