I think a podcast on FTR might be cool. I would really like it to be focused on the most popular threads of the week, and to have some of the sites players have a dialogue/debate about the issues in these threads. Would not have to be a long podcast, but it might be helpful. Might be tough to pull off, though, since everyone is at their own location physically.

The only logical reason for this statement is that you dont have an ipod, and arent hip to their ability to make work seem 2-3 hours shorter each day.

i've never understood the point of an ipod really. When do you use it? Work is an interesting idea, i'm still in college for a little bit, and the only real job i ever had we played the radio. I just don't buy the "i am a trendy college kid and have to have my ipod on during my 1.5 minute walk/bus ride to class" line.

I guess i take back my no though. If you want to listen to an ipod, you might as well be listening to an FTR podcast.

i guess the thing i don't get is anytime i am in need of listening to music, i'm either in my car with my radio, or at my computer with my mp3's. travelling in like a bus or airplane is the only time i'd use one, and really i don't use them much.

maybe it would help me do work. I always do my work listening to headphones at my laptop, but usually i end up wasting time on the internet. i normally go to the gym with a friend but all my friends have graduated now so i'll be going myself.

there is too much peer pressure, i think i'm gonna use my party points and get one. should i get an ipod nano or get an ipod video one?

i've been thinking it over for a lot of reasons.

A. my girlfriend will be in yellowstone park all summer and i'll probably be flying out once or twice, on long all day flights bought with frequent flier miles.

B. bigred's post made me realize that listening to an ipod while working is much better than listening to headphones from my laptop, since i waste tons of time on the internet.

C. I can get one free with my partypoints. I was gonna save up to get a nice watch but screw it.

Also keep in mind I made that post 2 months ago.

If you own an ipod you probably know this already but it might be worth mentioning. You don't need an ipod to listen to a podcast. You can listen to them right from itunes (no ipod required).
