Putting faces into videos

Hi folks, I've spent all morning trying to figure out how to put people's faces into a youtube video. I've downloaded the video, converted it, cut the faces, but am stuck on how to actually put the faces into the video? I downloaded Adobe premiere pro, but couldn't get the thing to work properly, so am trying windows movie maker at the moment. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You need to look into Adobe After Effecs, it's an effect called motion tracking.

Essentially, you need to tell the software what you watn to track (i.e. the place where the face goes) and then tell it what you want to put in it's place (the face).


This is not word for word what you need, but the technique you need is based on it.

Thius site is a must for someone starting with After Effects. Although he doesn't have a tutorial specifically for face replacing, the Demon Face Warp tutorial uses a lot of the same elements and you should be able to figure out what you need to do from there if you can't find any more helpful tutorials online.
