spenda cuz of electronic interference, the motor on the treadmill is probably pretty hefty and therefore would have a pretty strong magnetic field. Magnets + computers = bad

Considering just putting it in the living room, but found some shit about how it can fuck with DSL earlier so just seeing if anyone had experience. The room is like 8x8 feet or so.

I can't see it really being a problem.

It will clearly not work. Putting a motor that size near your computer will almost guarantee a loss of data. In fact, I'd be surpised if your monitors even turn on.

I've used my laptop in parent's gym while lifting. My dad was running on the treadmill at the time, it was fine.

Euph, LDO, it's a lead desk to block the interference.

You might get tempted into working out, I wouldn't risk it.

Unless you´re imprisoned or live in a mined area in cambodia or Burma I can´t imagine a reason to buy a treadmill.

Unless I am looking at something like a tv while on a treadmill I get sick. So, unless you are going to point the treadmill at the comp screen, you may run into the same issue. Put it in the living room and watch sports while running.
