    Default Real earnings = 0

I have now cleared a $150 bonus at Party. Unfortunately, I lost $75 while doing it, and when I now sat down and counted on my winnings and losses, I came to the depressive conclusion that all my net profit can be covered by the bonuses I have received.

    That kinda sucks.

Nah, break even poker is better than a lot of people can do. You would win money if you were not getting raked. Keep playing and whoring those bonuses.

Don't get discouraged. See it as an oppurtunity to improve your game. Sometimes we get comfortable with our games and just grind out day after day only playing. Indicators like these show you're not playing bad, but you could be playing a lot better. Hold your head up, take a sip of coffee, and realize you have work to do .

Bonuses are a good way to pad/build your BR while you get experience. Usually after the time you whore all these bonuses, you've adjusted to all different types of players and a lot of different situations. When, eventually, you realize you are a much better player than you thought you were.

    Oh....LHE clears bonuses better!!!

Can you explain this. I'm not skeptical, just curious.

    Bigred,

What I have found, it that it depends on the rake structure and table type (loose/aggresive).

With party skins raking NL tables on $2 pots, but Limit the rake is on $5 pots, so .5/1 NL is better.

Interpoker rakes on $5 pots. Limit tends to be better, since on the NL side many will throw out a $3 preflop bet, and often everyone will folds, thus no rake, or there is 1 caller making $4.5 in the pot. On the flop orginal raiser bets pot, other person folds with no rake.
Limit tables are looser, if someone raises preflop usually there will be at least 1 caller, thus having $4.5 in the pot going into the flop, the orginal raiser bets $1, there is a much better chance that the caller will again call, thus having a rake.
