well given that it was right before training camp but think about if that were you. You've made millions , more than enough to retire on and do what you want to do. You know you're playing a sport which dramatically shortens the lifespan of those who play it. The desire to try as hard as you can is no longer there. Yes, there are thousands of fans whom you are likely to piss off and there is a team that you'll let down. But despite all of that it is your life.. do you do whats perhaps best for you or do you play halfheartedly, not perform as people expect.. get blasted for it and then end up quitting anyway? Not that i dont like the decision, but he's doing what he wants to do... and not bow to what other people want from him. Shrug, i can respect that. may not like it but it is his right and if he dun feel like it, then good luck. No if only butch davis in his newly minted military coup of the browns organization can get things to work.. i'd be a happy man
