Well, I'm back on PokerStars with a fresh new account. Looking to build up some decent stats... My previous account was fairly donkalicious, hence, I want a new "serious" account.
I have also started some excel spreadsheets, a workbook per table, then a sheet per month. I'm noting down each session/game, buy-in, winnings, net loss/gain, balance, plus the stats for each game/session and notes such as who busted me and why. Might seem like a lot of unnecessary information to many of the more experienced players but at this stage I want to make as many cut backs on stupid behaviour as possible.
I've noticed that probably 80% of busts are just due to the other guy having a better hand in the flop, going all-in with KK vs AQ and being busted by AA, or a straight being busted in the flop by an unlucky flush. I can already feel my game improving somewhat...
I'm going to start a blog in the blog area so I can start setting some goals. Atleast then I have somewhere to brag or bitch :P
