Rippy got there via luck and stolen value from those unwilling to gamble. When exactly did you expect him to stop?
  15. #15
fnord, you always where a champion of rippy's potential. Why? Hes a retard. He had a few vague concepts right, but he had way more vague concepts completely backwards and wrong. Hes a retard.

    Story of my first FT

So me and Triptanes were goofing off in IRC and got to talking about Rippy, so we decided to make a bet on if I talked to him on AIM how long it would take for him to ask for money. We set over/under at 2 minutes, and I took under. I won $5.

So Triptanes transfers on PokerStars, which I have no other money there, so I play a $4.40 180-SNG, and made the FT. End of my story.

not bad. I have seen him make some inexplicable plays though. He'd be a big winner with a bit more self control, i reckon.

he busted my balls while him and i were walking from the front door to his office.

him: "i announced it in class, you must not go to class"
me: "nah...i go to .uh......most classes"
him: "well were you there on the last day? i reviewed some very important info for the final you are about to take"
    me: "no.....missed that one too"
him:"why????? it was a review session; i do them for your benefit, not mine. it was for you!!!"
me: "yea...cool....i had a test after that so i didnt go to your class sorry"

and then i passed the exam

He had some things in his game i wish i could incorporate. He also has some things i got away from or never even did that i also hate.

The problem was that the negatives far outweighed the positives...

That's enough. It's time we bury this episode in our past and leave Ripptyde alone.

Moderators: In the future, please be diligent in locking topics about Ripptyde before they go this far. We all need to move on.
