Sake.. (no real content, just a laugh)

Funny Little story about Sake, happened about 8 years ago in while in the Marines.

I had been stationed in Okinawa, Japan for about two weeks. The guys at work decided take the new guy out and show him the town. We end up just off base in some little dive bar just drinking our assess off. We'd finish one drink and then yell "SAKE!". All night I believe we only said that one word to the lady behind the bar "SAKE!". Every time we'd yell "SAKE!", the other 6-7 people in the bar would yell "SAKE!!" Right behind us laughing along. Maybe they were laughing at us, I don't really remember.

I have no clue how much we drank, but after about 2-3 hours of sitting on a barstool I was still feeling sober. That’s when I got up to piss and learned that my legs no longer worked. Suddenly I am laying face down on the floor of a dive bar in Japan. Unable to see straight and hardly able to stand back up. All I can hear is is people laughing and the old lady behind the bar yelling "SAKE!.

Any time after that we'd walk in the bar and the lady would laugh and say "Sake?".

Needless to say I have A LOT more respect for the sweet nectar named Sake.

Okay, if elin lives in Dallas or had any reason at all why she might be in Dallas last night, I would bet $20 that she was at the APL tourney I was at.

She wasn't playing, just eating, but this woman looked so much like her -- all parts -- that I almost said something.
