Are scarves for homosexual men or can straight men wear them as well?

Wifey keeps trying to get me to wear one with my wool winter coat so that I'll look like one of those abercrombie douchebags or something.

I think it's awesome for guys to wear them. If women think there's more homosexuals than there really are it only improves my chances with the ladies.

    for fags and non-fags

anything that makes you look more polished is going to be considered faggy by some

Scarves are fully acceptable for straight men to wear given that it's cold enough to warrant needing one. Here in Edmonton, AB, Canada, that temperature is about -25C.

I've been known to wear a scarf out. I've never gotten any compliments or good comments from my girl friends so I doubt it's a good look for me.

I see what you did there.

I have a couple of scarves my gf thinks look hot on me. I doubt I'll ever wear them now that we live in CA though.

yeah.. never see anyone wearing scarves in CA, as we don't need them. Plenty wear them in NY (one of the fashion capitals) and all of Europe, though.

meh... I think it looks fine when appropriate. Nothing homo about it. Unless we're talking about a pink linen scarf.

I think guys wearing knit beanies or other cold-weather headgear when it's warm outside is lamer.

Umm maybe for Souther Cal Xman, In SF it is definitely cold enough to wear a scarf. ( insert gay SF joke here).

In the UK a black scarf on a bloke when it's cold is standard.

Having said that, that just further validates the existence of the Fags only button.

Yeah.. I meant SoCal. But you know when the rest of the world thinks of California, they think Baywatch (and that's not SF Bay).

I wasnt a scarf man until this past winter. My mom bought me one and I was all "omfg Im not wearing this shit, thats so like totally gay mom!" But then it was really cold and I had just shaved so my face was freezing, and there lay my scarf. I never looked back.

btw, if you wear it wrapped around your face, either just over your nose or just below, you look like a bad ass fashion ninja. And everyone knows theres no such thing as a homoninja.

this is true! If I tell someone not from cal that I live in Cal, their 1st question is usually: do you live in LA?...
