Wifey keeps trying to get me to wear one with my wool winter coat so that I'll look like one of those abercrombie douchebags or something.

I think it's awesome for guys to wear them. If women think there's more homosexuals than there really are it only improves my chances with the ladies.

Scarves are fully acceptable for straight men to wear given that it's cold enough to warrant needing one. Here in Edmonton, AB, Canada, that temperature is about -25C.

I've been known to wear a scarf out. I've never gotten any compliments or good comments from my girl friends so I doubt it's a good look for me.

yeah.. never see anyone wearing scarves in CA, as we don't need them. Plenty wear them in NY (one of the fashion capitals) and all of Europe, though.

I think guys wearing knit beanies or other cold-weather headgear when it's warm outside is lamer.

I wasnt a scarf man until this past winter. My mom bought me one and I was all "omfg Im not wearing this shit, thats so like totally gay mom!" But then it was really cold and I had just shaved so my face was freezing, and there lay my scarf. I never looked back.
