Skype keeps telling everyone what music I'm listening to, and I don't know how to make it stop. I don't see how it's anyone else's business that I like The Wiggles.

Sometimes you have to install the new one, like after a format. I hate this too. Just leave it be when it's fine!

Btw i installed MSN messenger yesterday and it looks absolutely stupid now (aside from being a ghost town) and it talks about merging with skype.. not promising.

Only change I noticed was > screenshare is no longer a free feature (but is free if you start a group & then make a call to a member of that group).

Oh & some new emoticons (< or whatever you call them). I've actually found a couple to be useful > (finger)

Can you get free screenshare on that older version download?

I prefer Skype over anything else. One of the Skype accounts at my home is used for my home phone number. I've got phone number on there now & I pay less than $5/mth. for all my calls including longdistance to anywhere in NorthAmerica 24/7. (also sent away for the handset which is connected to my wireless router). Presently my yearly phonebill is equivalent to what my monthly bill used to be (excluding longdistance).

You'll notice the change when you get Skype 6. They've changed the icons/put the SMS option under the chat etc.

Screenshare for me is free person to person, but not in a group?

Only drawback to the Skype home phone is that I've had to register with a USA phone number (my area code is in Wash. state, I live in BC). So local friends now have to call me longdistance. This works out okay for me though - - I work as a property mgr. so tenants have a harder time getting ahold of me :P

What I saw when I read your post:

I cannot for the life of me crack the code. They're clearly not meant to be greater than and less than symbols. Maybe this was just a wall of text within which to hide a secret message. When you go by the word it's pointing at and the most proximal caddy corner below word of each symbol, then it goes "Screenshare group: emoticons on finger download."

Not sure if anyone has any better ideas.
