Default So just how much has everyone won at poker?

If you don't mind sharing, of course.

I'm just barely in the 4 digits, maybe a couple thousand. Who else is doing really good, other than the obvious FTR rounders.

Just barely into five digits. Probably 60% from online.

That's a year and a half of weekly B&M and seven months of online play.
Light years ahead of the competition.

About $8k since I started seriously in September, came close to busting about half way through though.

A bit of advice -- which some players in this thread already know:

Track this exactly. Many many people think they're "overall break-even or up a little bit" and ain't. You need to know exactly. Honesty is the best policy.

Going bust seems like such a great option right now. This game is brutal.

    geez, you guys are goot...

~$1,100 since March, but it's been one helluva rollercoaster.

From 100 to 800, back to 50, then back to 800, then down to 250, now up to 900. (Couple of small cashouts here and there)

Hope I've ended those huge downswings.

about $400 over 1 or 1.5 years playing very low stakes SnGs then I started studying the game more and more and switched to ring where I started profiting alot more/quicker and made about $1.3k in the last 6-8 weeks

    total: 1.7k
    Experimenting - 200NL 5max.

I didn't play for a week or two, just cause i think that's good to do sometimes. i came back and started playing for a little while tonight, oh my. if this is the way things are gonna be, i might just stay gone longer.

i'm up ~1500, started playing from scratch in january.

Yeah i was at the same point, over 2 weeks i lost a huge part of my BR, but i've had a few winning days and i came second in a mtt so i'm back to pre-downswing bankroll.
  21. #21
Since my BR crash to $6 I now have $700...

That's a little over one month of play since the crash.
Superb play sir...I always call 20% of my stack off with a gutshot draw. Excuse me while I race for my wallet.

i bought into party poker with a few 50$ bankrolls, and ended up losing them because i know less than what i do now....so i took a 2 yr hiatus. now i placed in a freeroll, and my winnings went from 1 dollar to about 3 dollars.
  23. #23
    since January about $20,000
  24. #24
    $350 since I started 1 year ago.

Up 1000 in 2005, once I shed my weak tight clothes.

I am up about 900, maybe just under 900 or so, after 7 months of play. I cashout exactly what I used as my starting bankroll, and threfeore, 100% of my current bakroll is profit, although some of this is from casino whoring, it is still profit.

My total winnings to date since Feb 2004...

    Home games: +$1,209
    B&M casinos: +$616
    Online: +$1,125
    Total: +$2,950

My first online deposit ($50) was in Aug 2004.

From Jan-Jun 2005, my bankroll exploded from $1,275 to $4,395... including bonus whoring and profit sharing from players I staked. I have barely played for the last 1 month.

Downswings? Had a couple horrendous runs in the $200-$300 range. Scary fucking shit at the time, but now they are but minor blips on the extended trendline.

I can only give you a rough estimate. I know my numbers online, but i play a home game two or three times a month and usually leave that one up $30 or more. I figure in the year since I started playing, I've made about $2500. And actually most of that was from the last few months, because I wasn't much of a player before then (kind of uncreative, too passive, and prone to tilt).
