    Default Sorry Shockey...

The ball has to go between the two little stick thingies before you can celebrate.

That was fucking hilarious. He is celebrating to the camara when then looks over and see's they have missed the FG. Priceless.

Lol it's not even just him. You can see Tiki Barber smiling at the camera and walking off view not even watching if they field goal is gonna go in, just assuming it's good.

    Silly vagiants.

No. Feely should kill himself. Just close his eyes and walk out into traffic.

Stop making fun of the giants.

I was at the game, hell ya.

Somehow I feel that this dance had more to do with Shockey sticking his peepee in Vida Guerra than it did with the outcome of a football game.

The game shouldnt have even been this close. NFL officials came out today and said in a public statement that Shockey's TD catch at the end of the first half and Toomers at the end of the game should have both been overuled and that they made mistakes.

Although frankly I'm more interested in a link to things being stuck in Vida Guerra.

Also - I don't get how the league is now saying Toomer's catch wasn't a catch. Shockey's - fine, whatever. But I watched every conceivable replay of the Toomer catch four or five times during that game, and it looked clean to me. At the very least it probably falls inside the "not enough evidence to say for sure" grey area. Now the league is pretty much saying it *definitely* wasn't a catch... on what grounds? The NFL must answer to me! I demand satisfaction!

If it's okay with 'rilla, I can definitely accomodate you with some visuals. Don't know the site's policy on pure boobage not being covered up whatsoever. But I got the goods.

    Dale,

My understanding is the first foot was out when it hit.

Enjoy ripping my Eagles apart next monday. Whatever team we have left that isn't on IR or suspended could barely beat the Packers.

I don't know how they could say for sure, though. It was interesting and strange that the official announcing the ruling on the challenge didn't even mention the position of the first foot down (he only explained that the second foot did drag inbounds). To me it looked like his heel was right against the back of the end zone line - not indisputably over it but definitely not showing any green between the two. Although, because of the camera angles available, you can't tell if he manages to drag his second foot before his first foot slides backward across the line, which it definitely does as his momentum carries him back.

All of which is a lot of nitpicking over a team I don't even follow. But still, from everything I've seen (repeatedly, and in slow motion), I don't know how the league makes that apology to Seattle. It was definitely unclear in real time, and even watching it in super-slow-mo doesn't make it obvious. This really may be a situation where we're talking about a difference of a few blades of grass one way or the other, and the league is opening itself up to further abuse by questioning its on-field official on this kind of judgement call.

I've been a Seahawks fan for a long time, though I am only 23. Yanno what though, this is the absolute BEST season I have been around for. They haven't been this hot since '84, this is a big season for me.

That touchdown is extremely questionable so who knows. That one wasn't what upset me though, it was the fucking Shockey call.

In a turn of events, now the league is denying all of this.

Interesting. That's pretty much what I figured their public stance would be. If they did indeed admit (or even hint at) mistakes being made to the 'hawks, the coach made a mistake in judgement discussing it with the press... the league is going to throw a fit now.

I have been a fan my whole life too and can actually remember the 84 season since i was a little older than 2.

Eagles, be ready. This is the game you win. On the road, time zone issues, your team sucks, your fans suck...all the factors that make seattle lose a gimme game like this.
